Seiya is 5 for 11 in SB and Burnes was throwing over like he was prime Rickey Henderson

I wonder if he's doing that simply as a way to give himself extra time between pitches.

That was an awful AB by Morel. Guess his mental break isn’t working as well as Seiya’s

I think wisdom has a much better chance of lucking into a hr right now

Geez, he’s toying with the Cubs. Think we can win 1-0?

the other crappy thing about the Brewers easy win yesterday is they can have the back of their pen jump in once Burnes is done, which based on his PC is gonna he awhile

Funny get our 2nd hit and its immediately erased with a GIDP

A lot of hard contact that inning, maybe the third time around will do it

93 pitches through 5 and 3-4-5 due up the third time through the order.  Does Steele go out for 1 more?

Feels a bit risky, but then again this particular Brewers lineup is Yelich, Contreras, then thoughts and prayers for the other 7 so I'm not exactly intimidated by who's due up.

I probably wouldn’t. Really need him down the stretch and we aren’t winning a playoff spot today. We have a full bullpen today and tomorrow before an off day.

In my head it's probably horsefeathers like that that's been happening for the Brewers this entire win streak

Chance to score runs and chance to run up his PC, got a pitch and hit one hard. That’s all you can do

Edit: I guess statcast only had it at 71 mph so I guess not that hard, but it was well enough to be a 2 run single with better location

This has to be Steele's last batter.  He has an arguably bigger start on Sunday vs. Cincinnati and is at 110 pitches.  Not great

Great bounceback though.  Was at 71 pitches through 2 innings and finished the last 4 in 40 pitches
