Straight line speed, perhaps.

But baseball speed usually requires lateral speed and agility, which might not correlate with a vertical jump.

Pretty sure he does. I haven’t seen lower than 55 put on his speed and multiple 60s.

Perfectly fine with Shaw there. I think he actually has more potential impact than he’s given credit for, but still is safe enough to let the Cubs swing for the fences later on.
