The Pacers are such thugs. 5 Tech's tonight...5 guys facing criminal charges. Bulls lead by 9, but Curry has the ice bags on his knee, hopefully there is no physical problem there.

Bruised right knee for Curry. He's currently on the bike and although they said he may return, there's no reason for that. 90-77 with 4:36 left.

Bruised right knee for Curry...Bulls should be ok without him tonight but hopefully he won't miss any more time. Hinrich should be back soon too. Honestly I don't care where the Bulls sit in the Playoff picture as long as it's 4,5, or 6. I think at any of those seeds they will have a great opportunity to win a series. However, Detroit does look far more beatablle than Miami in the second round...but I am getting WAY ahead of myself.

Bulls lead 90-80 3:45 to go.

edit: you keep beating me to the news Jon. Darn slow typing

Five in a row. That would be even better if it wasn't coming off of a losing streak. 100-96 the final.

Would have put the Bulls .5 away from the 7th seed with a loss.

But they are .5 away from the 4 with the win!

Using my 5am after 15 hour road trip math, if the Bulls went just 4-10 the rest of the way, Orlando (the 9th seed) would have to go 9-4 to catch the Bulls and leave the Bulls out of the playoffs.

Looks like there will be playoffs in Chicago for the first time since 2003

While I have no doubt that the Bulls will make the playoffs (none, whatsoever)... these kind of calculations sound eerily familiar (see: Cubs, September 2004)....

Let's not bring back those memories. :)

It may not have been a pretty 4th quarter, but the Bulls extend the streak with a 94-86 victory over Memphis. It was down to a 86-84 lead with under 3:00 left.

They're tied with the Bobcats at 47 at the half. Hinrich and Curry are sitting this one out. Harrington, Davis, and Piatkowski are the top three scorers for the Bulls.

Apparently Chandler was ejected earlier. Curry is out not because of his knee, but because he's sick.

93-93, under 2:00 left.

18 4th quarter points for Gordon! He's hit two circus shots since the 2:00 mark and a three to give the Bulls the lead.

He then drains one from 6 feet beyond the arc!!!!!!!

101-97 with :21 left. 21 4th quarter points for Gordon!

102-99 the final thanks to one Ben Gordon. I'll have to watch the highlights on the news tonight. Ridiculous.

It may not have been pretty, but the Bulls win another without Hinrich (and this time, without Curry, too).

BEN GORDON OWNS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

6-8 from 3 point land and 22 4th quarter points to lead a comeback win. I don't know what you're talking about.

How much longer is Hinrich going to be out?

That's 7 in a row for the Bulls, just 3 wins shy of a guranteed winning season (39-31 record).

He's been a game-time decision for the past few games, I believe. They could use him tomorrow night when they host the Cavs on TNT. Saturday night's game will be on the Superstation, so back-to-back games on national TV.
