My apologies, as I haven't read all 66 pages of posts, but here is a question:

I know that getting the 4th seed in the playoffs is important because it guarantees home court for the first round.

However, wouldn't you rather drop to 6th so that you wouldn't have to face the Heat until the Eastern Conference finals? A 4th or 5th seed would have you see them in the 2nd round (assuming both the Bulls and Heat won in the opening round)

Doesn't the NBA reseed after the first round? If they were 5th or 6th and won (and the 7th seed lost) then they would face the #1 team anyway.

I don't believe the NBA re-seeds after the first round. I don't really see this team winning more than one playoff series due to lack of experience anyway. The reason you WANT to play the Heat is because then you can see if Eddy Curry has truly graduated in a prime time spot like against Shaq in the playoffs. That series will either greatly ease John Paxson's mind about a long term deal, or make him more wary.

Apparently the reason that Eddie Curry did not play yesterday is because he had an irregular heartbeat, not that he had the flu. He is still in Charlotte, at a hospital, being observed.

Hope he's ok. In the Trib today, they said that he has had it before and it isn't serious. Still, it is scary when your heart isn't working perfectly, I hope he comes back soon because we need him.

He's still in Charlotte.

No, he's in flight right now or already back, according to the TNT people.

Bulls finish the first on a 7-0 run, they're down 23-22. Drew Gooden went off for 15 points, but LeBron only has 2.

More importantly, did you see Antoine Walker's watch during the halftime show? Wow.

It's Ben Gordon time...

Curry is my big concern. Young healthy guys with heart problems are scary. I really hope he's okay. Any more updates?

They said that he would probably be out 2-3 games. Navin said that he was out of the hospital but I thought that they said a bit ago that he wasn't.

They said he was headed to Chicago today during the first quarter. Haven't heard anything more since.

Wow, Ben has perfected that tear drop floater. I'm going to try that shot next time I go to shoot around. And then he sticks his tongue out after the last one. :D
