It's actually 5.

5-14 when he starts. Amaya 1-3, Gomes 16-10.

Micah has come here from a strange future in which this team displays an ability to actually win this game that is unsupported by current evidence

My bad. Gave him too much credit. I assume he got good atbats after Gomes left that ine game early. It is odd our backup catchers seem to be affecting our win loss record but i checked it today aftet the first inning blowup. Steele is struggling inside but Tuck kept calling for it. He has to recognize the pitchers stregths from start to start and have him pitch to those. The way hes doing it is insanity.

Losing most of Barnhart's starts has more to do with his .208 SLG than it does his defense

Bat boy could slug that

I assume the same about the day night games. I have no idea what he brings to the table that we couldn't replace with a farm system catcher from any level.

Welcome to North Side Baseball, BTW!

And I just got home from an appointment, only to find... a no hitter happening.

Against the ****ing Reds, no less.

Such an unfun team.  9-18 over their last 27 games.  I was hoping (still am) that this is an ok team in a bad funk but the longer it goes the more it seems like its just a bad team being bad.

We're at 5 weeks of being a sub-.333 team ever since that 13-0 win over LA.  It's starting to be a pretty damn huge chunk of the season.  Can this team actually end up with a worse record than last year?

Definitely possible, but on paper it seems crazy

That was five weeks ago already?

Brutal.

Since they moved these game threads out of game threads the Cubs have sucked balls. The universe is trying to tell you something, new guys.

I was thinking that may have been the case but they were already in the free fall when that move happened. It may have been the substitute URL that destroyed this team
