Elias does make the most sense, and I think finding a 40-man spot could be as easy as cutting Torrens in favor of him. But I, too, think he gets another start, and probably straightens this out. The specter of Kilian (and how many guys like this over the last 30 years?) is there, but I don't think Wesneski is the same as him, in several ways. (Maybe that's the copium talking.)

Wesneski get charged with 5 ER but it hound be 3 but for the Dansby error.  Only counted as1 missed out, but they turn two with a decent flip to Nico.

 

With off day Thursday, they could skip Wesneski and insert any Iowa starter of their choosing after that.
