I get the whole “pride” thing, but going for 2 to lose the #1 overall pick is certainly a decision.

Lovie won't be there next year so good for him

Lovie ain't gonna be there.

A good FU parting gift to an organization about to fire him after a single season.

The Houston Texans is the worst organization in the NFL, by far. And, quite possibly, the worst organization in professional sports.

Seattle misses a game winning FG at the end of regulation, going to OT.

If Seattle does tie, I think they are still not eliminated, as they would get in if Detroit and Green Bay also tie.

EDIT: I'm wrong, if Washington also wins, the tiebreaker becomes conference record and not head to head, so Detroit would get in with a tie and Seattle tie, as long as Washington holds on.

It would be nice for Detroit to have something clear to play for tonight.

Good. Hope Lovie’s last move causes them to continue to suck for another 5 years.

The Washington Commanders might rival their awfulness

Exactly what I was going to respond with. At the very least the Texans aren’t by far the worst.

Cleveland Browns fans are laughing hysterically at these last two comments. They aren’t the “Factory of Sadness” for nothing.

The Blackhawks beg to differ

All people who love freedom and justice are pulling for the Lions right now. Come on....put a dagger in Rodgers and send him from Green Bay in defeat, please for gods sake

god horsefeathering bless

it took 35 [expletive] years but we'll be free of green bay domination soon enough

if there is anything good and holy in the universe the packers will experience 40 years of qb hell. its the least they deserve for their blessed existence

I’ve always been a huge Lions fan :)
Maybe it's just because they have so often been bad, but I have never disliked the Lions like the Packers or Vikings. I wish they could have got in the playoffs this year.

Bears get the #1 pick on the same day as the Packers get eliminated from playoff contention at home by the Lions? This is probably a top-5 Bears moment since Super Bowl XX.

Yeah pretty much. Been a long season but I'm pretty damn happy tonight! =D>

Green Bay sucks!

I’m sure I would hate them just as much if they won a lot. What they have brewing now looks legit.
