Good news, everyone!

Best team in the league if they can pull it off

Why exactly would the Ravens not franchise or extend Lamar? Are they blowing it up?

The only reason I could possibly see Baltimore not franchising Jackson is if his knee is way worse than has been reported.

It is concerning that the “1-3 week sprain” has now gone into week 5 without Jackson even practicing.

His injury could be worse than is publicly known maybe? Also doesn’t he represent himself and doesn’t have an agent? Maybe him the the team are just at a bad spot with negotiations? The Ravens also seem like an org that think they can plug and play a QB vs paying a guy a top 3-5 deal in the league.

They regret not following through on the "Rookie QB salary" theory once and are gonna take the haul and rebuild a roster around next QB, and repeat every 5 years.

Half serious only, but they'd be at the top of the list of franchises who would totally try that.

How come a potential Bengals-Bills matchup isn’t being treated in the same way as a potential Bills-Chiefs matchup in terms of being played at a neutral site? The Bengals lose out on a chance to host a playoff game just like the Bills did.

The Bengals were going to have to have their 1st round game vs the Ravens HFA picked by a coinflip had the Ravens won yesterday, despite being a 1/2 game better. I think the logic between no coin flip or neutral site vs Bills is that they actually played the same number of games. The issue comes when one team played 17 games and the Bengals only 16. But since Bengals and Bills 17th game was actually against each other and determined who would have HFA in a potential matchup, it doesn't make sense that it wasn't treated the same.

While I get that matchup would have determined HFA, I just can't get around letting that be worth a whole game in the standings. Ultimately it comes down to fairness, right? But if there was a 2 v 3 matchup where the teams were never scheduled to play you wouldnt demand they get a regular season matchup to determine seeding. Just an oddity of scheduling. But one team went 13-3 and the other 12-4. Can't let one cancelled game sway results of 16 others IMO.

Beyond that there probably are practical matters. Trying to line up multiple potential neutral sites just adds a lot of extra contingencies on short notice.

Extraordinary situation and all, and I think the coin toss thing was inconsistently applied, but I don't think the Bengals have legit reason to be mad about any Bills matchup.

I think they should have just let the standings be what they are and not worry about any coin flips or neutral site games. Sorry to Buffalo that you don’t get the 1. You also don’t drop to 3. Sorry to Cincy you don’t get the 2. You also don’t get the 5 either.

I also thought Cincy being outraged over the coin toss thing was incredibly stupid. Going by betting odds there was a 3% chance of them playing in Baltimore in the first round.

You know what actually sucks? Almost dying on a football field. So you lose a chance to move up a spot. Oh well. Deal with it.

May I never see Rodgers' Trump loving ass again.

I'd really like to see him play one more season, I want the Bears to beat the Packers with Rodgers still at helm. My dream scenario - fixed up Bears pound them on national TV with the biggest Packer lover having a permanent Rodgers boner Collingsworth announcing. Not only do the Bears pound them but, Justin Fields lights them via the passing game and someone on the revamped Bears D-line Payne, Will Anderson, Jalen Carter, etc. ends Rodgers' season. Won't remove 30+ years of frustration but, it'll come close, if only not having to hear Collingsworth do a Rodgers game again. When it comes to Rodgers, I'm definitely of the kick him when he's down, rub salt in his wound's ilk, he's very much earned it.

I tend to agree, but on that Collinsworth note, he absolutely loves everyone. For gods sake he said trace mcsorley was the perfect quarterback for Arizona. He’s a rare bird, most jock sniffers are sycophantic media members whilr former players tend to think everybody sucks nowadays. But he’s an ex jock jock sniffer, a verified onanist

I am the sort of Packers fan that has almost no love for Aaron Rodgers, other than when he is good on the football field. I think he is the kind of horsefeathers that loves to goof around and have fun, but the moment anything is aimed back at him he can't handle it and turns into a giant penis. He is the Joe Rogan type of contrarian moron who thinks is he really, really smart, but actually doesn't understand a god damned thing. I have appreciated his play over the years, but it's very clear he sucks (although not even close to the same level as Watson or Bauer, or even Kane, imo) and I am not going to be sad when the Packers move on.

That said, I have never ever gotten the impression that he is a Trumper. I definitely don't think he likes Biden, but I highly doubt he pays any bit of attention to what goes on in politics. He isn't the standard brainwashed conservative loon the same way Cousins is, for example. He is very careful with how he presents himself, so I don't think you can pin him down, but if I had to guess I would say he leans towards the hippy/libertarian/homeopathy and herbs/all politicians suck/the minorities I know are all millionaires so I can't really understand why people think there is so much racism side of things.

But who knows :dontknow:

I'd like to beat Rodgers too, but I don't really care if it's with the Packers or another team.

I'd like to beat him with a baseball bat.

I'd prefer his career ended the same way Fav-Reys did...at the hands of a Bears defender on a total legit play
