Green Bay picks up a win (a conference win!), leaving 3 teams winless: Louisville, California, and Central Connecticut.

If it does get down to just Louisville and Cal, they should just schedule a neutral site shame game between the two just for kicks.

Illinois takes out #2 in OT after being down 10 with 7 minutes to go. Huge win.

Considering how little these guys have played together, I'm hoping that they continue to get better as the year goes.

Based on how the schedule shakes out, it'll be a long time before they play a game they aren't favored in.

I think the upside is enormous. Right now they're still very sloppy with lots of turnovers and 1v1 on offense, but as they gel they could very well be the team that finally gets UI back into the sweet 16 and further.

Clark is going too fast, lots of unnecessary dribbling, I think he'll start figuring it out soon. In the meantime, Epps was very good last night, he's fearless not afraid of rising to moment and taking a big shot. Him and Clark both are the types that can penetrate, get to the hoop, this style seems to excel in the tournament. Would love if the Illini had another shot at Maryland - Illini' best >>> Maryland' best - Ilini did play well at all and still could have won at Maryland.

I mean, that's just the Big Ten on the road

Hopefully they get Goode back and in shape before the tournament hits.

Cal tells Louisville to hold their beer, losing at home to a bad Eastern Washington team, leaving them just one game where they'll be favored the rest of the season.

Iowa just lost to the kenpom #356. They really need to get healthy for once.

Blaming a loss to EIU at home on health sure is the leap.

Turning into a nightmare year for the Illini...

He wasn't passing, wasn't putting in effort on defense, and was losing playing time as a result. The season has become a nightmare as there's no cohesiveness and eventually a shoe was going to drop.

What a dumpster fire. Since beating #2 Texas at MSG and looking like they were heading for a top 10 ranking, they’ve lost to Penn St by 15, Missouri by 22 and Northwestern by 13.

Clark was supposed to be an elite pg recruit. He’s either been hurt or underperforming.

The two big time transfers have both been underwhelming. Shannon has mostly played well but tends to disappear on the offensive side of the ball. Mayer has been an enigma, seemingly losing focus and falling asleep on both ends of the floor.

Their best returner, Hawkins, looks like he’s forgotten how to play basketball, making bizarre shot and passing choices.

No one seems to have any clue what they’re doing in the offensive side of the court. Underwood is screaming his lungs out, and outside looking in, it really looks like he’s lost the team.

Well they beat IU last night. And after losing it's 2nd best player earlier in the season, they lost their 3rd best player in what looked like a pretty catastrophic knee injury (based on him crying on the court in pain). So a pretty promising Hoosier season looks like it will be Trayce Jackson-Davis, role player Miller Kopp, and a bunch of players with little B1G experience.

Illinois had a team manager suited up for last night's game they're effectively so thin on ball handlers. I was concerned what they'd do to last the year, but apparently this is a thing that can be done now:

Does that mean he's joining the team and playing this year?

He's planning to join for the spring semester, which would have him join the team right away. As for playing, who knows?
