Didnt seem like a lot of love at 1B between Willson and Rizzo. Especially because Rizzo usually has a full fledged conversation with anyone else on base.

You've got to love the team that was created to fix the RISP problem setting the franchise record for RISP futility.

It's absolutely incredible that no matter what the hell this franchise does they suck with RISP. You'd think just by dumb luck they'd hit decently in that position once or twice. As I recall they were merely middling and not terrible in 2016 but basically every other year it's been a catastrophe.

That was laughably smoked by Stanton. Just wow.

I saw him in 2014 at Wrigley. He didn’t do much in the couple game we saw except for one at bat he just smoked a line drive that either short hopped the wall in LF or hit it on a fly. It was nuts how hard he hit that ball and how low it stayed to the ground yet still went as far as it did.

I was glad I got to see him hit a ball that hard live one time.

Simmons OPS is .347

I don't even know what to say about that

Honest to God that single transaction might make me doubt Hoyer more so than anything else he's done. That signing was stupid and pointless from the jump and never had a chance to be even remotely decent.

It was his very loud declaration that we were out on Correa

I'm a nerd and went through every team vs. team history to determine if the Cubs winning % against the Yankees is the lowest. It is:

Lowest winning % against an opponent lifetime:

Cubs vs. Yankees - 15.4% (4-22)

Reds vs. Mariners - 16.7% (3-15)

Athletics vs. Braves - 19.0% (4-17)
