I'd love it if he could ball out and we can go into the offseason with some momentum and good vibes (not to mention make us more attractive to HC candidates)

Since its the Bears he will throw 3 INTs and fumble twice and the only person that will take our job is Mike Zimmer.

Just praying he doesn't shred his knee or something. And that was not at all my concern the past 17 weeks, but of course it would happen in a meaningless week 18 game cuz #OnlyMyTeams

There is nothing official about Nagy being told he is gone. He denied it.

Theory: Nagy knows that the McCaskeys hate to be scooped as evidenced when he was supposed to be fired before thanksgiving and then stayed on, so he leaked this report in hopes that the McCaskeys will say 'dammit we cant be scooped, now we have to keep Nagy"

cool theory

Somewhat related to the Bears because its Hub:

Firing Nagy and keeping Pace does nothing. Leslie Frazier is gonna come in and have the same success or worse than Nagy.

I don’t think Nagy is a good coach or that he should be retained. But he’s winning 6 or 7 games this year with a 6 or 7 win roster. Firing him and retaining Pace is utterly senseless.

Pack it in, no longer a reason to watch the Bears on Sunday

Don't think for minute Nagy isn't secretly tickled pink he gets to start his boy, Andy, for his last game as the Bears HC. He''ll also start Peters at left tackle, have Burns take most if not all the snaps from Graham Jr., etc., no sense in getting pissed about it now. It's the last time he's ever going to get to do this crap, I take comfort in that fact.

Oh for gods sake

Poor Justin, not a fun rookie season for this guy. Only thing we can do is hope the next administration is competent and can run a good offense

Dannehy writes for the DaBearsBlog with that guy Jeff who has gotten things right before. Hopefull,y he's right. The reasoning is obvious and sound, but as always, Bears.

Thing is, yes they can preach collaboration and then fire only one of them. No it wouldn't make any sense, but that's never stopped them before.

Who is the Dan they are referring to and what did he report about Nagy/Pace?

oh they're talking about dan wiederer and how he's kind of a dbag.

He's saying Jeff (from DBB) was telling him that was happening before it had been reported by legit media.

I think at this point it's clear, with social media and everything being so prevalent, that sometimes the randos on the internet do have legit info. And bloggers even moreso.

I basically agree with Smitz.

Bowles and Roman prob round out my top 4.

McDaniels is my first choice. The potential upside for Fields is just too great to ignore. We need a coach where we can say: "if he can't get Fields to star status then no one could." That's McDaniels.

Probably a completely worthless thing to post, but for whatever it’s worth, my friend lives in Lake Forest and claims to have seen Pace today and said he was visibly angry.

I'll take it! It's the equivalent of seeing Theo at Starbucks or whatever.

I hope.
