Nothing much weird in the new rankings, but worth noting Cincinnati is actually 4, first time a G5 team has gotten that high.

Ton of smoke about Riley to LSU and Napier to FLA.

If Riley can find someone to coordinate a defense, his QB development and the ability to get Southeast OL and WR recruits could be scary.

I thought Jimbo was going to LSU. :)

From what the so-called insiders here are saying, Jimbo told them no. Like OMC said, Riley to LSU and Napier to UF is all the talk, but Aranda's name keeps surfacing too. Like I posted the other day, there will be some pissed off people down here if Napier goes to Florida and succeeds.

Also, win or lose to aTm, this weekend will be Coach O's last game.

Yes this is sour grapes and no this probably won’t matter but the back judge who reffed the Michigan Ohio State game in 2016 (JT was short OT loss that cost Michigan a trip to Indy) is being assigned to this game.

In 2016 he was involved in 3 major calls against Michigan that the Big Ten later said were incorrect. Oh and this guy is born and raised in Columbus and is a self-proclaimed big Buckeyes fan. For the 2006 game (1v2 both teams undefeated) was not not allowed to be assigned because of his potential bias.

Again it probably won’t matter but why invite the controversy by assigning him to the game?

Two weeks ago I would have thought that OSU v UM would be competitive, but that curb-stomping of MSU last week has me thinking this one is over by halftime

Just as I was typing “Michigan is looking good to start the game”, they throw an interception.

That was an awful throw. Even if the dude who intercepted the ball wasn’t there, that pass probably wasn’t going to be completed.

4th time in 5 Ohio State games that Michigan has scored first. In 2017 they were even up 14-0. I’ve seen this game before. Ohio State eventually takes over and wins big

Of course as I say that in the back of my head I’m thinking “prove that you’re different”

There's a decent argument to be made that Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama and Michigan are the 4 best teams in college football this year, but that would make for a super boring playoffs

I'm mentally steeling myself for Michigan to be the team that draws Cincinnati.

Ok Michigan has to go through this 4th quarter and still win the Big Ten championship (would be so Michigan to get this cathartic win only to lose next week)

Nah, odds are better it'd be Michigan vs Oklahoma State, and Georgia vs Cincinnati.

Congrats Michigan fans. I think everyone outside the state of Ohio was on your side.

I’m stunned. I wasn’t hedging my emotions when I said I thought Michigan had no shot. Yes I can be a raging pessimist but this was just resigned fate from being beaten down so much. I haven’t even thought about the Big Ten Championship game

OSU's big achilles' heels (can't stop the run and pre-snap penalties) reared their ugly heads again, and this time their opponent was good enough to take advantage of them.

Based on the MSU game I mistakenly wrote UM off, thinking OSU had finally put themselves back into their former category of nearly unbeatable in the B1G East.

Wrong.
