The last thing I want to do is absolve Toews, Kane, or anyone else present and silent during all of this, but as mentioned above, it's not terribly difficult to figure out who this player is, and (assuming I have it right) in 2014 he was no longer a member of the Hawks organization. Of course, there's those other stories from 2011 in which all those guys were there. Just disgusting up and down the organization.

Yea it's not totally clear to me if the context is then former or currently former.

 

Anyway. No one us gonna be made public who doesn't want to be. Let's hope poor internet doxxing doesn't occur and out the wrong people (victim or perpetrator)

I believe the Hawks have disputed the reference part and that civil litigation is still ongoing.

How the horsefeathers can the NHL only give the Hawks a 2 million dollar fine?

 

The Devils received a lot worse 10 years ago for violating the salary cap and not children.

 

I was always more of a casual fan of the Hawks (Larmer and Secord were my favorite players) but even as a passive fan, I'm out.

 

Unless they sell and completely turnover this roster, nothing can redeem them from being the rapists they currently are.
