Why is he saying there’s a question whether the Bears go with Foles?

Incredible comeback by the Bears. Just perfect in every way. I’ll probably regret this but that’s how good teams win football games.

Think about everything they had to overcome. Down 16 in the 4th quarter, they had TWO TDs overturned and both resulted in a loss of possession. They made a QB switch mid game, they didn’t get the 2 point conversion that would have made it a 1 possession game. They lost their backup RB and punt returner to a devistating injury. The refs seemed to be way more willing to call penalties on the bears.

I rip on Nagy for a lot, and I still will, but keeping his team poised and focused despite all that is a reflection on him

Wins are always good, regardless of the opponents. But the3wins are against teams that are currently 0-8 and most 0-9 by the end of the day. Those three teams probably picking in the Top 5 of the draft.

Not sure why you choose this post in particular to respond to, or why you felt the need as a Packers fan to horsefeathers on a really fun victory that had nothing to do with your team but ok.

You're referring to the Packers, right?

Ummm, don’t be so sensitive. The fact that I’m a Packers fan has nothing to do with my post. The three teams they beat are trash. But losing to those teams would’ve been worse. Wins are good.

No I wasn't,' but you know that. The Packers beat two teams that haven’t won, so I don’t put much stock in their 2-0 start. But wins are wins.

It was weird because you chose to reply to my post which didn’t talk at all about how good the Bears are or the quality of the opponents they’ve played. So not sure why the response to my post about overcoming adversity today is telling me that the bears are beating up on bad teams

oh don't be so sensitive. besides, your team gets to play a team whose QB has clearly aged past his best years, you should be 3-0 soon. But if you dont win....

I’m shocked he pulled the cord this early.

idk, Mitch was having a terrible time reading the Falcons defense, and he sure as hell didnt want to lose the rest of the team. It worked, but I wonder how much of it is how they play down as opposed to leading or earlier int he game

Oh, I’m not being sensitive. Trust me. Happy they started out with two wins. Bears get that same aging QB (probably) later in the season, so there’s that.

It's because Packers fans are unquestionably garbage.

Didn't get to watch the game today, but followed online. At any given moment, the Bears are either the best team in the league or the worst team in the league. They can't even consistently be a first or second half team. I don't know what to make of the QB change. If you're going to pull the plug on Mitch that quickly, why did he win the job? Maybe it was back-to-back unproductive halves. Maybe they weren't happy with his performance in the first 2 weeks outside of the 4th quarter of Week 1. Maybe they were tired of hearing about how they should have signed Cam. I don't know.

Matt Nagy is now 9-2 in September and 8-0 in Weeks 2-4 in his coaching career.

It’s not like the Bears have demonstrated a focused direction at the QB position over the years. I think they signed Foles because they knew where this would likely end up, and Nagy just pulled the trigger earlier than maybe he thought he would. I’ll bet those missed deep throws were a big factor. Who knows what else was happening in the sidelines. Maybe guys were getting frustrated and it just started to become palpable.

Awesome note from The Athletic:

What matters — the Bears are 3-0, pulling off a 16-plus point fourth-quarter comeback for the third time in 80 years, and the second time in 14 days.
