TWO horsefeathering hits last night?

Cubs magic number down to 16 thanks to the Cardinals loss.

David Ross, the learning curve appears to be high? Or are you just bad?

The Cubs offense is BAD

That umpire's zone was very large last night

It reminded me of Eric Gregg(R.I.P) in the 1997 NLCS game 5

Bryant over last 22 PAs (only has 110 on year) .350/.409/.500 2 XBH and 144 wRC+, last 30 .286/.333/.429 3 XBH & 103 wRC+. May be turning a corner.

I can’t find the other tweet to go along with this but I saw one the other day that KB is close to the top of the league of guys who have had the most balls called strikes against them in the league this year by a decent margin.

Edit: This is it

Over/Under on number of Ks Anderson has today?

I'll go 7.5

He hasn’t struck out more than 6 batters in a game since 2016 and he’s only surpassed 5 twice since then. Hope we’re up to the challenge

Would love to see them light Anderson up....like they should. But they swing and miss way to much, so Anderson probably gets his season high in Ks.

And Javy dropped in the lineup to 5th. That'll make a difference.

Wonderful. horsefeathering Vargas. Unless Rizzo is hurt he needs to sack up and play tonight. These two games are the most important left, plus there’s off days Monday and Thursday this week. Also sure would be nice to have the guy they traded for to improve the lineup vs lefties be up here.

I think you are overstating the importance of these 2 games. Definitely bigger than the Indians and Twins games but with the Brewers and Cardinals playing 10 of their final 18 or so games against each other, the Cubs should be fine unless one team wins like 9 of them and the Reds get hot, or the Cubs completely flat line

This offense is a horsefeathering joke!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t worry, Theo thinks that if we keep the core group together, next year they will finally put it together and learn how to make contact and hit breaking balls

Nah, you win these next 2 or split and that Cardinals-Brewers series doesn’t really matter. We finish top 2 in the division. Lose the next two and suddenly you are looking at a WC spot if you don’t play .500 or better the rest of the way.

I wonder if Taylor McGregor thinks this memorabilia nonsense is as big a waste of time as I do. Maybe I'm projecting but she even is acting like she thinks it's stupid.
