winning the wild card keeps our playoff streak alive (i care about this), keeps the stupid brewers out of the playoffs, and still puts tons of pressure on the organization in the offseason (failing to win the division in back to back years despite having the best roster is shameful). but mostly i just hate the brewers. i hate the cardinals too, but as long as they don't win the world series, them winning the division doesn't change much in terms of bragging rights. they were never going away anyways. i just can't stand the thought of the fraudulent brewers fluking their way past the cubs this year.
