Wow that was about as bad of a weekend as you can have. The cardinals have a cakewalk schedule until mid-September too (except for I guess Milwaukee)

Cards upcoming schedule

3 @ MIL

4 vs CIN

4 vs SFG

3 @ PIT

3 @ COL

3 vs MIL

Cubs counter with

3 @ NYM

3 vs MIL

3 vs SEA

4 @ MIL

4 @ SD

3 vs PIT

I guess pretty similar and the Cardinals will cool off but I’m not putting my money on the Cubs winning the Central at this point. Prove me wrong boys

The ironic thing will be when the FO points to the Cardinals' fluke season as the reason why they didn't feel the need to try and do any major moves in the offseason.

I cannot or will not watch this team if it comes back with all the main pieces in place. People will say to horsefeathers up and enjoy a winning team in playoff contention but I’ve tried and I...just can’t. I enjoyed 2014 way more than this year.

Empty threat i know

The Cardinals do only have 1-2 off days and a double header in there, so hopefully that makes an easy schedule not as easy as it should be.

Well if the Cubs don’t make it I’ll probably be rooting for the Nats.

The Cardinals and Dodgers are definite no gos.

I am not watching another second of baseball after this horsefeathers show.

Nah, this is the offseason that horsefeathers is going to change. It's going to come via trades, but whether Theo has gotten dumber or not, there is no more denying that they have to diversify the offense. Keeping the same exact core for a fifth or sixth year won't work, and Theo won't try to fool himself again.

ETA: Also, I agree. I find this brand of baseball to be brutal to watch and can't find myself appreciating that they are still a winning team.

Thanks MLB for sending me a notification that Castellanos hit a HR in the bottom of the 10th. That rocked until I got the perplexing scoring updates in the top of the 11th.

It’s definitely tough to watch but I’m still aware of what’s going on and don’t want to live during a Cardinals and Yankees WS. Plus the Dodgers not being able to break through despite being pretty damn good for a decade is hilarious.

Can't imagine this season is going to help the viewership/interest in the Marquee Network's first year.

All the more reason blowing off the off-season made zero horsefeathering sense.

I'll be rooting for Atlanta by default and I don't care who comes out of the AL unless it's Houston, in which case horsefeathers off.
