I was all set for a pro-wrestling themed comeback story theme, but instead here's a poorly pixelated representative of Milwaukee over a representative of ownership.

If Q gets hammered again (which looks likely with all those RH bats) then I hope they look into trading him at the deadline. Open up the few mil and go get Pence and Martin from the Rangers.

Theres a few contenders with really bad rotations and he could be serviceable for them.

Couple observations/questions

1. With apologies to Cox, I actually view this game as bigger than the second one against the Giants last week. I wouldn't claim it's the biggest game of the season, but it's still bigger than that one.

2. I haven't watched the last couple outings, and I won't be watching this one as I can't stomach anything Brewers. Is Cox turning out to be right on Robel Garcia or nah?

3. I don't know if Derek Johnson forgot his notes or just left them behind before leaving for Cincinnati, but the Cubs don't seem to score runs against many of the Brewers pitchers except for a few games here and there. Many of those pitchers aren't that great and give up runs to other teams.

4. It's a bit too late in the season to expect otherwise, but I'd love a more diverse offense that doesn't rely so much on the home run. But if we are going to go that route, I'd like to see at least five today, including a couple with a guy on first.

5. We had that KB dongless meter going earlier this season. It might be time to bust out a Javy walkless one. Would love to see one today, perhaps even two. Even if it's an IBB.

6. I think Craig Kimbrell will overall be fine the last two seasons of his contract, but I've written it before and I'll write it again, for this season, I do not have that fuzzy warm feeling any time he comes into a game.

Am I correct in assuming that even if he doesn't get hammered, you'd still look to trade him? Because it would be sort of bold to base what to do with Q at the deadline on one specific start.

I think hes fading fast. It wouldnt be based on one start but the peripherals are ugly since April ended and his main value now is as an innings eater.

I’m 100% positive the cubs will win this going away and have a positive RD on the series because baseball sucks and the cubs are a mistake

Really going to be amazing when the bullpen blows this one.

Q is [expletive] his pants now. Pressure’s on to not blow what sb an insurmountable lead.

Can’t wait for the statcast on that. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a ball leave a yard faster than that

As expected, it was epic. Longest GS since statcast began.

You haven’t been paying attention to the Cubs the last year. They win this in a blowout and then score 4 runs total the first two games of the Cards series.

Thanks, juiced ball

The left fielder ran in initially because off the bat that looked like a can of corn lol

One handed, opposite field pop up goes 15 feet over the fence
