We are well past the point of Joe needing to be gone. I just wonder if Theo cares enough anymore to make a move.

Did you want him to burn a couple good relievers when we’re losing? Brach and Cishek pitched yesterday. If you think Kintzler is good, he pitched also.

I’m fine with wanting Joe gone but I’m not sure what else he should have done that inning.

Don’t really think this one is on Joe.

Eh, we probably weren't winning anyway, but using Ryan repeatedly in high leverage situations is on Joe. This team has completely backslid the last 3 years under Joe, his choices are more and more against what our philosophies are supposed to be. I just don't understand why he is still here as a lame duck. These seasons were supposed to be precious. Sure doesn't seem like that is the actual case if we have a lame duck manager.

Yes, I would have liked that. We still had a chance in this game. It's whatever, we got our one. I wasn't sure we would even get that. Just can't see this group doing it again.

From Bleachernation:

On the year, Schwarber is hitting .205/.311/.419 (93 wRC+) with the bases empty, but a dreadful .105/.255/.184 (-1) with runners in scoring position. He is also at .261/.340/.466 in low-leverage spots (111 wRC+) and just .143/.294/.357 (42) in high-leverage spots, with a strikeout rate approaching 50%.

This after he had historically bad numbers with RISP last year

I feel we need to aim higher than that. Mark Cuban had to pay $10 million to women's leadership and domestic violence organizations because he was the owner of an organization that employed people who made life hell for the women who worked there.

Dude is just not good, period. It's ridiculous how badly the entire OF was botched.

And pitching staff. But at least they got the infield right. Well except for the guy that abuses women

Not trading him to the AL was a big mistake.

To me he is the most susceptible hitter to the shift and makes no sense as a lead off hitter. But then I look at his numbers with runners on and realize he's only halfway decent with the bases empty.

Hes a horsefeathering paradox.
