At least they didn’t wait until the 7th 8th and 9th to comeback like they did this weekend vs Cincy. Most annoying part is scoring a combined 4 in the 1st 2 games then scoring 8 over 4 innings tonight.

Shifting my focus to Arizona, they have an easy schedule compared to Philly.

Man, how are you not most worried about the Brewers? I realize I'm paranoid, but I think you got this all wrong.

Shifting my focus more than worried. The Brewers also have a pretty easy schedule too. They play like butt when they aren’t shutting us out though.

We are closer to the Cardinals for the division (whom most have rightfully given up on thinking we can catch or at least think it’s a long shot) than the Brewers are to us.

To be totally transparent, and as you already know, I have Brewers phobia and hate everything Brewers.

I'm also a pessimist, which made 2016 great. However, when it comes to the Brewers I'm always expecting the worst-case scenario. So, while the Cubs actually have the opportunity to take care of business themselves and knock the Brewers really far back this weekend, I just know that's not how it's going to work because that would be too much baseball happiness for me. No, I'm expecting to get swept and watch them get right back in it because that's the life of a baseball pessimist who hates the Brewers.

However, getting to vent on a message board is much better than paying to see a shrink to talk about this.

horsefeathers everything.

Ended up being a productive day

A Dbacks loss would be nice. If they win they move even with the Phils. Only tough series left is vs Stl

Let’s just win the division

Hope you guys enjoyed that Cardinals loss last night - Cards up 3-0 already in the 1st today

First run on a Goldschmidt infield chopper because this team is apparently incapable of scoring in a way that isn't complete [expletive].

Eh if we couldn’t be good enough to have run away with this mediocre division we did this to ourselves anyways

That's how I felt last year, but this is STL and they've had enough teams performing 10 miles above their heads for 10 lifetimes.
