Expanding on what Len was saying.

 

This is Heyward’s 9th MLB season. His worst team record is 89-73. He’s missed the postseason once. Never finished below 2nd place.

 

Okay??? That just means he's been on a lot of good teams in his career. It means nothing.

 

Mike Trout must suck by comparison right? He lacks heart or that winning attitude or something you can't quantify...

I'm saying those dumb people who think Heyward is a "winning type" ballplayer probably think Trout sucks (or is partially at fault) because he's only made the postseason once.

At this point, I think I would settle for a tiebreaker game against Milwaukee. Win tomorrow, take 2 of 3 from St. Louis, and assume the Brewers are going to sweep Detroit. I feel much more strongly that the Brewers will win out than I do the Cubs will win 3 out of 4.
