That loss still doesn't bother me for some reason. They didn't play well and were getting somewhat lucky to be holding on until they didn't.

 

Two out of three, especially since the wins are each of the last two.........that loss is already forgotten.

Lester gave up 12 balls hit 95+ mph. Only 5 went for hits. He only struck out 1 guy. As dumb as yesterday afternoon's game was I think today's was just as dumb but this time in our favor.

I showed the video to a Cards fan I play fantasy baseball with who hates Heyward since he’s a “trader” his only response was that the dumb catcher didn’t know how many outs were. I told him he was as dumb as the camera man.

Yeah. The Willson stuff was weird but they definitely sounded like they admired and were jealous of the Cubs defense, as though they have to watch Chris Taylor at short and Enrique Hernandez at center every day.

Definitely. Just reading that they said "bat flip mentality on defense" I would assume it was a negative connotation. But listening to it they definitely meant it in a positive way.
