Al Green once sang, “Loving you forever

Is what I need. Let me be the one you come running to.”

Al Almora put those words into action after trying to redeem himself from his 8th inning at bat in game one. Redeem himself is what he did, causing all the Cubs to come running to him.

Tomorrow it’s Lester vs Stripling. Stripling has a 1.76 era, I see us stripling that 1.76 x 3 = 5.28.

Cubs 5.28

Dodgers 1.01

I glanced at that lineup and thought for a brief moment I saw chatwood's name on the right

Joe wants to pitch his worst pitcher in back to back days to continue his being innovative and cool streak

ahh come on you couldnt have ran a little bit harder with a run on the line?

Also I don't think Lester swung did he?

Edit: Realize now Lester had no idea that he "swung" so he didn't run right away/

Why does that run not count?

I'm assuming its the same thing as hitting a grounder to second with 2 outs. If the play is made at first it doesn't matter if the run scores first
