he has some sort of elbow ligament injury but he is pitching...i believe he did the platelet rich plasma injection thing at some point. but either way, yeah, he pitched the other day.

The injury did limit his ability to play in the field (or maybe that's a precautionary move), which was one of the reasons he picked an AL team.

Yeah Maples was really struggling. He's always had shitty control but my hope is that maybe he's pressing a little bit knowing he's battling for that 25th spot and hopefully Hickey gets him on track by the end of the spring. I know it's cliche but he just needs to trust his stuff and throw strikes.
