Got a scenario where 22 teams finish 8-8. There are 25 teams could still finish 8-8 but head to head matchups eliminate 3 of those teams.

I would be curious to know how many NFC teams, if they switched conferences with the Patriots, would be favored to reach the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh is the only other good team in the AFC it seems.

Pretty crappy way to treat Eli. Geno Smith isn't their future QB, some dude currently playing in college is. They aren't winning with Geno either and at this point in the season what difference does it make if you win a game or two? You let Eli play out the season, you let him walk off the field waving at everyone at the end of the last game, etc., and then once the season is over you have a business conversation with him where you say "do you want us to try and find you a suitable team that we could trade you to that might give you another chance at a ring or do you want to retire?"

Why is a team forced to burn a timeout in the last two minutes when there's an injury when the clock is stopped? It makes total sense if the clock is running (you don't want a player to fake an injury to stop the clock). It didn't matter but Baltimore had to burn their final timeout today when a receiver went down after an incomplete pass.
