Perfect ending and loss.

And Trubisky is a bust.

He looked good today

THEY PUT UP 7 POINTS AGAINST PROBABLY THE WORST DEFENSE IN THE NFL

This is pretty hilarious.

fox's turn the game into a boring but close low scoring slop fest strategy doesn't even work against a 1 win team lmfao

I didn't say "the offense looked good today." I said Trubisky looked good today.

He completed 80% of his passes, threw a touchdown on 7% of his passing attempts, had no turnovers. Had a couple of nice runs. He made solid decisions consistently and showed NFL quality throws.

If you actually care about evaluating individual players and not just backing up a preconceived idea or making broader team-based arguments, there's no way you can say Trubisky was anything but acceptable today.

Trubisky has some accuracy problems but calling him a bust is extreme

Honestly I don’t even know what I’m looking at. It’s the most basic play calling I’ve seen since Shoop and receivers can’t get open save a few plays. Most of those are quick routes where there’s no read planned.

He didn't even have accuracy problems today. 12-for-15 and at least one of the three incompletes was a drop. I might have missed a play here and there, but the only inaccurate throw I can remember was the one on the "free play" when there was a penalty and he tried to force in an 8-yard curl. That's also the only bad decision I really remember.

It's hard to give him a full evaluation when he only throws 15 passes, but this was the best he's looked so far.

Bengals, Lions, Vikings on the road and the Browns at home. If we lose out, the 2nd pick is in play.

I'm somewhat hoping for this just for the fact they'll be able to get a nice package to trade down. I still don't see us worse than 6th pick when it's all said and done.

They have to be. I’m reading that twitter feed and the complaints are remarkably similar

edit - fun things about this tweet:

he called the 2017 cubs the most hateable and embarrassing cubs team in 40 years. this team won their division fairly easily and went to the NLCS.

he said the 2004 cubs won 90+ games (they didn't)

he said the 2017 cubs would win 85 games...he said this in mid september. the cubs won 92 games.

Colts play Broncos and Texans at home. Bills and Ravens on road.

49ers play Titans and Jags at home. Texans and Rams on road.

Broncos play Jets and Chiefs at home. Colts and Redskins on road.

Giants play Redskins and Cowboys at home. Have Oakland, Philly, and Cardinals on road.

We could end up 6th. But, 1-3 could see us move up. 0 wins and I'd say we're top 3.

They just look pathetic. Mitchell was a good pick, he’ll be here for years, but asking a rookie QB to save a team from themselves is a tallllll task. We need more talent and we need to stay healthy. And most importantly we need a new coach

I think we ran on 11 of 14 1st down plays today. The coaching may actually be just as important as the players, in the Bears case.

Shaheen not playing more than he did, was pitiful. Surely, Pace can't be scared of Fangio winning a few games, can he? I dont think it'll happen, but Fox needs to be gone asap.

even if fangio won the last 4 games it wouldn't be all that hard to move on from a PR standpoint

Evidently Fox said they felt good about the FG block and that's why they didn't let them score?

Jesus Christ. How difficult is it to understand that there is maybe a 1-2% chance of a block from a kick inside 25 yards and maybe 0.5% chance of a kickoff returned for a TD. compare that to the odds of Trubisky leading the 2 minute offense to a TD

In reality he knows that but his super conservative to a fault mindset ingrained over 30 yards of coaching just can’t accept voluntarily giving up the lead to give himself a better chance to win. Or I should say “a chance”
