Yep if you run backwards it hurts you 9 times out of 10 and the other time that happens

it's going to take years to get him to stop doing that now

kind of annoying to get a fluke special teams TD. i'm ok with winning this game but if we do i'd like it to be bc trubisky balls out, not some (fun) nonsense like that

haha, as he was running backwards I was like look it's Hester at his worst, and then he turned it into Hester at his best.

Boomer, Simms, and Cowher dropping some serious praise on Mitch during halftime (talking about his arm, accuracy, throwing lasers into tight windows). Not sure how I feel about that.

I’m impressed by all of your commitments to watching this dumpster fire team week after week. I don’t know why you do it.

yes why would anybody want to watch their favorite team's #2 overall pick starting qb when they could be doing...something... on a sunday at noon

how is pure bandwagon/fairweather fanning even fun? do i gain interest/excitement when my teams are good? sure, but i never completely go dark on them.

It’s not fairweathering when you know the team is garbage from the start. I want them to be good, but I’m not going to invest three hours every weekend to watching them suck.

I barely watched the 2013 or 2014 Cubs either

It’s possible to do more than one thing at a time you know. I’m wrapping presents.

are you wearing this as a badge of pride or something?

and how is that not fair-weathering? lmao that's literally the definition of fair-weathering. i'm not going to begrudge you your right to do that or say i'm a better fan than you. do you.

i did watch the 2013 and 2014 cubs (and 2012) and got enjoyment out of watching baseball and watching rizzo develop, baez, hendricks, and soler come up and arrieta turning into a franchise altering talent. i also knew they were going to be a lot better in 2015 than people expected (not saying it's because I watched those things, but it didn't hurt). just because you don't enjoy watching things like this despite losing doesn't mean other people don't.

watching crappy Bears football is the easiest thing to do. It's 16 games, usually on Sunday afternoon. It also helps that Bears games and the Super Bowl is the only football I watch.

It’s not a badge of honor, I would just get stressed out by all the suckiness.

The Bears aren’t good enough to ever be on locally so the temptation isn’t really even there.
