It was a stupid, torturous series that should have ended two horsefeathering days ago. I'd like to forget the whole horsefeathering thing.

That series was amazing and playoff baseball doesn't get much better than that. It's supposed to be torture.

I'd agree if it hadn't also been so sloppy. But I'm sure I'll feel better about the whole thing tomorrow after my new ulcer has calmed down.

Who gives a horsefeathers if it's sloppy? So was Game 7. All that matters is flying the W.

All that weird horsefeathers that used to horsefeathers us, yeah, it's now working for us.

Game 7 of the 2016 World Series aside, where would you rank the excitement level of that game with some of the others in recent years?

I think this falls in between the Montero grand slam game and the clinch v the Giants last year.

Only Game 7 tops it.

This one was pure terror from the 6th on. I felt more terror this game than in game 7 (granted I was trash) I think game 5 on the World Series was last time I felt this tense

Can someone please make a meme out of that Daniel close up after that double?

I'm partial to Rizzo crushing the life out of Kershaw. That was the moment I absolutely knew we were going to the World Series.

This game was fucked up. Because we were down and I thought we were done. And then we were and I felt ok for about a second. Then the rest of the time I thought we were going to blow it. Probably the most nerve wracking game I’ve ever witnessed besides game 7 last year.

That game was grueling. Is it only Cubs fans that feel like a 2-run lead is a 5-run deficit? That's how I felt innings 7-9. I could feel my heart pounding. I will not sleep tonight, but I don't give a flying horsefeathers. Bring on the Dodgers.

3 straight years in the NLC. That's just amazing to think about right now. it's easy to get upset and fired up, but when you think about the winning we've seen between 2015-2017, it's hard not to smile.

Also, I'm super happy to see both Dusty and Murphy go down. They're turds.

And last thought. We can slam dusty all we want but horsefeathers just seems to happen against his teams.

Just saw that presser on TBS. He looked wiped.

horsefeathers him and the horse he rode in on.

They can whine about whatever calls they want, at most it makes up for MLB refusing to move game 4 to a time when it wouldn't be raining.

What are you talking about? The Cubs dominated that game from the first pitch and never trailed.

[expletive], three straight NLCS. I love these guys.

Wade is like "No big deal." in the locker room.

Hahaha

DeJesus: When was the last time a closer went 7 outs.

Kap: Last year, Chapman.

DeJesus: Oh, I guess the Cubs know how to pick the guys to do it.

So Pedro and the gang are trying to figure out how to get Dusty Baker a Championship.

I always figured that Dusty just really never figured out how to manage pitchers.
