That was a very 2016 Bears finish. Close but no cigar. Reminded me of the end of the titans game last year all the way down to the dropped almost TD

The offensive line was absolutely terrible on that last drive. Glennon was pressured almost every dropback

I want to know why that never happens in the opposite way

Glennon has done more than enough to save his job for next week.

But not John Fox's for the season.

Seriously, there's probably 60 And who could do what he did today. Barkley could have done that.. I think he did a couple times last year.

It's comical, i mean, why do the bears never get that?

They really didn't look great at all today, but we're incapable of moving the pocket with Glennon, either. It's either hold back rushers with their ears pinned back , or deal with messy pockets.

The Bears will never win a close game.

The founding franchise of the NFL and the team with the largest unshared market in the country can't get an obvious hold at home. Sad.

What does the history of the franchise and the size of the fan base have to do with enforcement of the rules?

Bottom line is Pace fucked up that pick badly. I didn't think the Bears needed to spend such a high pick at WR when we had so many holes all over but was not completely against it. But the dude was hurt when drafted and has been hurt basically the entire time here. It might not be fair to judge him based on the 5 sporadic NFL games he's played but regardless he hasn't shown anything in those 5 games that makes me think he will be any good.

pace has drafted pretty well during his time here (or at least relative to his predecessors) but he fucked that one up

He went to the locker room with a hand injury and came back with a collarbone break. Lol. Sounds like an inside job.

Fully expect Wright to get the season ender next week. That's our 1 and "2" in a 3 week span.

It's not a big loss compared to Meredith.

at least David Terrell is no longer the biggest top 10 WR Bears Draft bust ever

For all the frustration about the defense and those 2 plays, fwiw last year the Falcons scored less than 23 points in just 1 of their 20 games. Yes it's a different season but I think it was a pretty good effort

It's probably a good enough defense to propel them intp the 6-7 win range.
