It will be fascinating to see if LeBron is young enough to have one more "horsefeathers you all I'm gonna crush everyone" season in him.

Well then, didn't see that coming. I'm pretty annoyed it took the Brooklyn pick in light of the bags of magic beans that Butler, George, and Paul were acquired for.

He's obviously better than those 3, but I think Ainge let Cleveland bluff that they didn't have to dump him.

Felt like Cleveland shouldn't have had much leverage.

Under normal circumstances yes but that organization seems so dysfunctional right now I wouldn't be surprised if they had decided to just keep Kyrie and let it play out. But I like the trade a lot for both sides, that opening night game should be LIT.

Also the trade really highlights GARPAX's faults. The bulls are in for a tough road.

lol kevin durant is such a dumbass, good god

Did he create a dummy account?

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because I wouldn't have wanted to play with Westbrook either, but yeah. Whatever rings they win will feel hollow.

That being said, if I was a celeb I'd probably have a dummy twitter account too. Why just let the norms get in on the fun?

That's a lot of teams claiming to lose money in a league that always seems to be telling us how much money they are bringing in (obviously don't know what kind of accounting shenanigans some may be pulling or if it's part of some owners plans to run at a loss, but still).

Contraction. Make the Milwaukee's and Memphis's feeder leagues.

16 teams should do.

I know this will never happen, but it'd be so much better.

Don't disagree, the product would be better with fewer teams/condensed talent.

This also could be a negotiating ploy by using the ESPN lackeys to gain an upper hand to get more from the players and/or the little markets getting a bigger cut of revenue sharing form the big markets.

Oh, for sure, with the contract explosions, you know the owners were gonna eventually cry poor.

At the end of the day, the bottom rung players who well outnumber the stars still make out under a big inflated league too, so the owners will get many of the concessions they want.

Russ got his 5/205 deal, as the Lakers continue to watch all their future targets fall off the board. Hope OKC can keep George too now.

I like Russ and he’s amazing but if Lonzo is as good as they they think don’t know if he was a great fit there. Lebron, George, Jimmy, Boogie, etc all are better fits as FA additions, imo.
