but i'm not sure how the whole league is handling it

 

i know it came out a few weeks back that they were eliminating the "home" and "away" jersey designations

it sounds like home teams will get to pick...so i'm not sure if all teams are going to go colored at home, but I did notice that sacramento's colored design said SAC while their white said KINGS on a mockup. so who knows.

 

so, i guess, we'll see some mix of white/red on the road and almost entirely red at home.

Ahh I didn't catch that news.

 

I just pointed out the NHL because they did the switch about 15 years ago and it was really weird at first but quickly became normal. I'm not aware of the NFL every making home jerseys white but I could be wrong

I just pointed out the NHL because they did the switch about 15 years ago and it was really weird at first but quickly became normal. I'm not aware of the NFL every making home jerseys white but I could be wrong

 

i'm saying that most nfl teams wear their flagship colored jerseys at home and then white on the road

 

i know some teams flip it when it's hot out

It doesn't sound like it will be standard, in fact someone on Realgm said every team to announce so far has kept white for home, but it doesn't sound standardized at all, so teams can even switch throughout the season.

 

Will be interesting to see the alternates. Also will the Bulls be getting a corporate sponsor on their jerseys?

This is Reinsdorf we're talking about, the Bulls will absolutely have a sponsor. He's not going to forgo easy revenue.

I think axing the red outline on the NOB was a good move.

I don't get people getting worked up about which uniform is worn home or away. You see them playing in either uniform all season long anyway. How could it possibly make a difference in your life if you see the home ones on the road and vice versa? How can that matter?

 

The only possible way could be if you have a blackhawks type only road games on TV situation, and you hate that one uniform.

I like white at home and colored jersey's on the road. It's a stupid traditionalist thing. The reason for doing such a thing (giving a chance for fans to see different colored jersey's at home to sell tickets) is dated as hell, I just don't like change in sports for whatever reason. I get weird about seeing alternate jersey's in the playoffs because I don't know why. None of this is actually logical.

I actually think the black jerseys (not the shirts that they've switched to the last couple of years) were the best in the league. And if they ever brought back the black jerseys with the red pinstripes, the rest of the league can forget about it.

nah. the pinstripe ones are cool and are a nice change of pace, but the reds win easily.

Basically you can't go wrong between red, whites, or black pinstripes. They should just rotate those three between home games, with the red Chicago script as an occasional alternate.
