plz no stupid horsefeathering rainout after we already had to endure that stupid off day monday

 

and off day tomorrow (although i suppose its possible to play this game tomorrow in the event of a rainout)

Bosio was on the Score and they joked that if they would have to play tomorrow instead they would have stayed in St Louis almost a full week.

 

I'm not sure if both the Cubs and Cardinals have mutual off days either prior to or just after either of the other two series down there this year

At least they are replaying tomorrow instead of later in the season. I would have cried if we had 3 off days in a 4 day span to start the season.

Perfect. I can get sloppy at the game tomorrow and was going to have to stay relatively sober today. I will probably have an extra free ticket if anybody is in town.

Poor Cubs would have had a nice break from the blight of St Louis and Milwaukee but now they will have to wait until Sunday night to escape.

I strictly came here to comment about how painful it must be for the team to be stuck in St. Louis for an extra day, but I was clearly not the only one thinking of this horror. Haha!

Drove 3/4 of the way from KC to St Louis with 4 other guys only to have to turn around. Sucks we didn't get to see the champs, but rehashing every moment of the 2016 season along the way was still a great time.
