Cubs cancelled my season tickets - anyone else?

I'm 48,221 on the wait list now. I'm pretty sure my number gets higher every time I check

Yeah I'm guessing they just haven't updated after the scalpers who got theirs revoked. That and maybe some old people dying is all you'll be moving up this year.

I'm not gonna complain about my spot in line. I, like many others here, had the chance to buy around 2012-2014 and didn't. Now I have to deal with the consequences. It still makes me slightly upset that the Cubs played in a world series and I didn't get to go to a game, but mostly because for years I dreamed about the moment and was fully prepared to sell whatever personal belongings I had to afford a ticket, but I guess kids get in the way of that (also your first born doesn't fetch as much value as you are led to believe).

Nah, they will be gifting those tickets to Trump and his cronies. That's why Todd was made part of his administration right?

I wouldn't go that far. The big jump in prices might push a chunk of people away now that they've finally been able to see the Cubs win it all.

I can't believe nobody has made a joke about Evanston yet, or the people of.

 

Most of us aren't season ticket holders. So we don't have that right.

Just a general sense of how Evanston is a weird collision of North Shore obnoxiousness and NW college town lameness.

 

It's the least college towny college town ever since the old rich people refuse to let anything cool happen there
