I was able to find that knit World Series hat at Champs Sports here in St. Louis (Galleria, for anyone around these parts).

This one:

go get me one!

Bob, I hate to shill for Ebay, but there are a bunch of them listed here. However seeing the explosion of them on Ebay makes me think that they might be restocked soon, but then again, maybe not.

Not swag but a nice one for the bookshelf. I love Easton Press' leatherbound editions and have several in my library:

I bought the on-field hat from Lids last night and realized after I got home that the logo was really off-center. Will have to go back and exchange it. First world problems and all, but a bummer.

I tried finding that Jed Under Armour track jacket with the W on the sleeve he had at the rally on Under Armour's website, and they have it, but it's a gray color and it also has a hoodie or something. The one Jed had was simple, just a pullover that was solid blue, with a half white stripe down the arm with the W flag on the right arm. The one on the site has a World Series logo, is gray, has a hoodie, is a full zip down, and while it's really nice (and sold out), it's not the one Jed has. I'd be all about that one.

Jed's:

Anyone know where to find that thing?

I've been looking for something like this too! Haven't found anything close yet. The one you linked on the UA website isn't quite what I want. The one Jed is wearing is it!

The stupid headline pun in the title really sours this book for me.

Costco has some apparel - men's t-shirts for $15, children's for $10 and I think the hoodies were $35.

The prices on all those items are correct. It's not the locker room apparel, but it is officially licensed World Series apparel. I did like the t-shirt, and bought one of them. Costco also has many commemorative magazines ($4-$10) as well as 20" by 16" framed Cubs-related pictures ($50).

I also just bought Cubs gloves, a Cubs scarf, and Al Yellon's book. With the 3-in-1 coat and a winter Cubs hat I bought earlier, I'll definitely be warm in Wrigley no matter what temperature it is!

I just bought the Cubs World Series Costco shirt, and have not yet washed it. It is 100% cotton, so it might shrink in the wash. There was also a sweat-wicking 100% polyester Cubs t-shirt ($18) with no World Series branding, which I bought a month ago. The polyester shirt still fits after at least one wash.

FYI, I just got an e-mail from the RedEye (a free Chicago Tribune-affiliated paper). They have a 15% discount on all merchandise for today and tomorrow. The store includes Chicago Tribune and RedEye press plates, t-shirts, and other Cubs items. Use promo code "SORRY" at checkout for the discount. Kinda curious, what's been the wait time on online orders? Been eyeing up stuff on the usual places (Lids, MLB dot com, Fansedge, etc) but I'm curious if I ordered now if it would arrive next week or in a month.

Also has anyone ordered one of the press plates from the Tribune?

Most of the MLB.com products say they will be shipped no later than next Wednesday. Some (the massive blu-ray set) won't come out until December.

I picked up the Topps Now World Series set with the autograph. Would be fine with any autograph other than Almora (1/10 chance). Bryant and Rizzo are 1/5. . . . . set normally sells for $50, with the autograph it was $150. Far too much for the chance at an autograph, but screw it -- it's the world series!
