I've been working since 5am, so I have an early end to my day. I'm going to be sitting at home finishing up random things, trying to make the time go by faster.

This is the moment we've been waiting for our entire lives, ladies and gents. This team was built for this. Being in Cleveland is an advantage via Schwarbs and the Cubs have shown a better approach at the plate away this series. Hendricks cannot be rattled, he just doesn't have the emotions for it. Kluber will be attempting something he's never done, and few have even tried. I'm comfortable we are in the right position to succeed.

All hands on deck. Let's rock.

I'm dumb and don't get it

There was that original picture of Hendricks looking like a member of Al Qaeda standing in front of the W flag --> The face was swapped out for all the starters in the playoffs/World Series or something --> Chapman's face was put on there, but since he's darker skinned, the photoshopper did the due dilligence of making his neck also dark --> now that its Hendricks turn again, no photoshop was needed, but the photoshopper was pulling a funny by photoshopping hendricks's white face on chapman's black neck

Would love to see Lester pitching to Ross to close out a blowout Cubs victory in the 9th tonight.

But I won't be picky - just win, please.

Would anybody else feel a little more comfortable with Grampa Ross behind the plate? He's actually been better at the plate throughout the post season, and if anyone can keep Kyle at his best, it's him. It goes back to the old better chance of X helping us with the glove than Y helping us with the bat. And we'd still have Contreras' bat on the bench.

Nope, nobody else has thought of it. Thanks for the idea!

There's literally nothing that would make me feel more comfortable about this game than the Cubs having about 20 more runs than the Indians.

So what sucks is that I have to fall asleep here across the Pacific before this game comes on at 9 am. Needless to say, I have a very forgiving boss who understands that these are, indeed, the most unique and pressing of circumstances.

I've watched every game this series, 4 of which with no sound. Its time to become fans who have cheered for a team who's won the World Series.

I understand the suck. I'm in Germany, game starts at 1 am here. So I'm going to try to leave work early, get to bed early, wake up at 1 am, watch the game, then survive on coffee the rest of the day. Luckily, my boss is a Red Sox fan, so he understands.

Took leave for the whole series. Didn't even want to pretend to care about anything else this week.

I make zero guarantees about the quality/quantity of my work the last couple weeks.

Cubs get a run each off of Kluber-shaw-miller-allen, Hendricks goes 6, Lester/Lackey/Arrieta handle the 7th and 8th, Chapman closes it out in the 9th, Cubs win 4-1.

Please start Ross over WillCo

After seeing Contreras looking... not great behind the plate last night, I agree. He's a great weapon off the bench late in the game as well.

A preemptive horsefeathers off to Dave Cameron and all the other dumb ass writers (but especially Dave Cameron) writing about what a terrible 9-3 victory that was for the Cubs last night.

I would trade all of the other teams I'm a fan of never winning another game for just one more Cubs win tonight. I want this so bad.
