Cogs....You had your AB's for the series. Now go horsefeathers off

Agreed. He should have totally done something with 2 pitches that were out of the zone that he correctly took.

Ya know, I'm not even that upset about this game. I was on the dang floor throughout the NLCS I was so stressed out. I guess I'm just glad to be here. I'm not going to lose sleep if we lose this game like I did with NLCS games.

Brooks has 1 pitch out of the zone for Kluber being called a strike and 2 pitches in the zone that were called balls.

Brooks has 1 pitch out of the zone for Lester being called a strike and 3 pitches in the zone that were called balls.

And one more for Kluber during the Coghlan AB (the first one) and he's even while Lester is -2.

Smoltz "Sure, these pitches are clearly balls, but he's been throwing these balls all night for called strikes!!!"

Thanks, Jon.

Fox's overhead cam has caught at least 3 Kluber pitches being called strikes when they never touch the plate, and they're only showing that on decisive pitches of an at bat.

You sir, are clearly blind.

What is the disconnect between everyone here who hates Smoltz and all the local and national TV/radio hosts who can't praise him enough?

Most of those guys are idiots

Then go through Gameday. The ump has missed a couple but he hasn't been as bad as most here are making it seem. Kluber's dealing, he's hitting every corner and Lester hasn't been.

40-1 odds that he hits the first homer in the series. Tempted to put some money down on that.

Those odds seem ridiculously high. Prop bets are usually sucker bets because odds are rarely good. That almost seems like a mistake. I would've guessed 10-1 tops. Doubt you can still bet those odds.

On ESPN 1000, Tom Waddle just made a $100 bet on that prop.

Just put $50 on it.

So close to $2,000. :banghead:

I don't know. Perceived bias aside, his analysis is consistently and objectively poor.
