Seriously though, you and a few others only seem to post when things aren't going well, and just piss and moan and meatball. I'd put money down that like 70-80% of your posts are pure, mindless negativity.

 

I know misery loves company, but if that's all people are gonna do, it'd be nice if they did it somewhere else.

It's funny how people only pay attention to the negative posts. We've all made them and I've been positive up until the last few innings.

Tell me a few reasons why I shouldn't be very scared as a Cubs fan right now?

 

Well it helps that they have the best team in baseball and that the postseason is a coin flip so winning 3 of 4 against another team isn't particularly improbable.

 

Also this team has repeatedly proven that they are up to any challenge and everything I've seen from them suggests that they are not the type of team that would flame out like this.

 

I'm not overly confident but I'm not counting them out yet

The series will be tied in about 25 hours and it'll become a Best-of-3 with two of those at Wrigley.

 

Everybody calm down.

 

Two of them started by pitchers we absolutely cannot touch. And that is best case scenario.

It's the playoffs. None of that matters so stop being silly.

There are three reasons people post in a game thread like this. Dumb bravado to convince yourself it is fine, over the top negativity to let it out, or attack the negative people to feel better for a second.

 

If you aren't willing to take their frustration, don't post the second type.
