The Giants coming back and winning this series just wouldn't add up. If the malevolent forces that want us to suffer wanted to hurt us with *this* series, wouldn't we be playing the Cardinals or Mets? Sure all of the even year stuff is annoying, but not as bad as the alternatives. No, I think they have something else in store for us this year.

 

In conclusion, Cubs win 6-3.

This is where I'm at too. I've irrationally convinced myself that if we lose tonight, we lose the series.

 

I'm going to spend the first 3 innings in a casino with an eye on the bar TV, and hopefully head home around the 3rd or 4th inning with a comfortable lead.
