I still can't believe that. One day of rest after a 110 pitch start, which was also a start made on short rest. All coming back from a rather serious injury. Kershaw is obviously the best pitcher on the planet, but not under those conditions. That's even leaving aside the injury risk. Hopefully all of this tires him out for his next start.

 

AND they still had a really good reliever in Baez available
