Who is this idiot in the booth with Costas? In this inning alone he's made comments regarding "how pitch count these days play a factor in taking a pitcher out, unfortunately." and "Nowadays guys all wear the elbow guards, that should be something they aren't allowed to do."

Careful what you wish for I know, but I'd much rather play the Nats than the Dodgers.

yes...just somehow make sure trea turner never sees 1B against lester (yeah yeah i know we're good at controlling the running game in lester starts now but still)

Strasburg is a bit of a wild card, but overall I agree. Just getting Kershaw to pitch again in this series would be very beneficial too, even though he hasn't been his usual self lately.

he was a yankees announcer for a long time

very old timey

and like just about every old timey guy he's won a bunch of awards simply for having a famous name and showing up.

*** just realized now how little he actually played with the yankees compared to his 20+ year career

The Dodgers and Red Sox going home right out of the gate would be pretty funny, considering there were people/maths that thought they could hang with us. It's also pretty nice if the remaining field is a little weaker.

Definitely, although the Jays look scary as hell.

A Cubs/Blue Jays series could be the most dongeriffic in history

With none of that "play the game the right way" non sense. I'd love it.

The Bat Flips would be be everything
