About all you could ask is for him to continue making improvements at making contact. The power is nice. The ability to walk is great. If he makes more contact, then the power plays up even more. And he'd become an on-base machine. Throw in some Gold Glove defense at short, and he's a superstar.

I love Willson catching Jake today. With Dexter back and now Soler back and crushing the ball, Willson really shouldn't play in the outfield the rest of the year, save for maybe here and there -- every other week or so. In which case, he needs to catch. He needs to be in the lineup. And he's a catcher. That's where his value comes. Keep him behind the plate and let Miggy rot away.

Yeah the beat guys were saying before the game that Joe had a conversation with Miggy about his role on the team today which I took to mean that he might be catching once every 5 games if that and might not be on the playoff roster. Joe said it was a good conversation.
