what if he pitches a cgso in game 4 of the world series to secure the sweep, allowing us not have to have chapman as the lasting image of the final out?

 

A friend asked me the other day if I'd rather have Chapman or Lackey get the last out and I said Lackey without much thought. In addition to the obvious, it would probably mean the clincher is a lower stress game. I feel like Joe would bring in the rested closer in pretty much any scenario where the Cubs are up 1 or 2.

I'm looking at his numbers and I can't believe how bad he was in 2008 on a great team and still got over 70 appearances. Sheesh.

 

I think he was the guy that blew in the game in the top of the 9th against the Rockies that gave way for the Alfonso Soriano walk off hit
