Holy [expletive], the A's scored NOTHING again?!

Christ.

well, they've only scored in one inning this weekend so why are you surprised?

it's in jest, not serious. it's a play on a previous post.

Why do the Cubs suck on purpose? Seems like a terrible decision. c:

i don't now what c: means

but, more importantly, is this a terrible attempt at a joke?

c: Means I'm being a facetious douche.

I think that was the correct call, but it's such a silly rule.

Why?

Why was it the correct call or why is it a silly rule?

And yet his point makes my post just a little more valid.

I don't understand that call at all.

He was running outside the baseline therefore he's out.

I know the rule. But he wasn't outside the baseline until right at the base. It's a stupid rule.

Why is it silly? You get called out going to any base if you're outside the baseline. I don't see why you should be able to obstruct the throw to first.

I don't see any point where Contreras is entirely on the left side of the line. If that's a correct call(I'm gonna say no), then that's a rule that needs changed, because the base itself is out of the baseline in that case.

He stepped right in front of the throw. He should be out.

Why?

Because Contreras was running directly to the base, and he wouldn't have been had he stayed in that lane thing.

The thing about those lines though is that it's not even the baseline. Like that's not the direct route at all.
