I was thinking that for sure Heyward's slow starts in the past have all but ended by this point but actually looking at his OPS on July 5th every year, he's definitely lower than any other year in his career but not by a ton

let's not kid ourselves here, nobody in cincinnati is wasting their time watching this reds team.

Why is Peralta still on this roster?

 

i feel like they could pick a reliever at random off the tennessee or iowa rosters and there's at least a 50% chance that guy would be better than peralta.

I'm assuming this is the one good/half-way decent pitcher in the Reds bullpen, is he going to go 4IP?

price will probably blow out his arm by using him too much in an attempt to salvage 65 wins this season.
