Can we just play the Reds for the rest of the year... please???

I need to get this up now as I'm heading out and won't be back until well after midnight Chicago time so here goes.

Cubs want to go into the all-star break on a big winning streak. The second of those wins comes against the hapless Reds once again. Lackey mows down the Reds lineup like he shoots deer from a tree stand. Zobrist and Contreras both go deep off Finnegan as Cubs roll again 7-2.

Go Cubs!!! We Are Still Good!!!

Only seven? Hot weather, wind forecasted to be blowing straight out.

This is the game the Cubs hit the elusive 20 run barrier.

Maybe we can finally hit one into Lake Michigan? :stickman:

sure wouldn't be many times that a player goes from batting leadoff one day to batting 9th the following day.

maybe in the American league

Damn, I got a 2PM also (EST) that I scheduled myself. Thought this was a night game for some reason.

Made it to my seats. Great day for a game. Go Cubs! It's been way too long for a game at Wrigley.

Enjoy!

You can just go ahead and PM me first before you offer to the rest of the board :)
