I think Mets fans were starting to think of him as the healthy, durable one this year too. He's had a TJ, missed chunks of seasons to elbow issues...

Apparently he got Prior'd/Hawpe'd and took a line drive off his arm. That was the only tweet about it and figured he came up lame on a pitch, then I saw a video later, it's a tricep bruise and x-rays were negative.

Darvish to the DL with a back injury, probably Dodger DL shenanigans but too bad if it isn't......

It was kind of weird when he pulled himself from his last start. He sort of sprinted off the mound, which I think would be troublesome to a back injury if one existed.

And the Dodgers expect him right back after 10 days.

I think he had a crazy velo dip in a start before this recently (obviously with the avg down like that he's been down every start lately), this one was only like in the 80s, and they did their 10 day DL maneuvering and he skipped a start. Looks like it didn't take.

#ThatsMet

I haven't been over to MR lately, do they still think the whole rotation is coming back completely healthy next year and Cespedes will be peak Bonds?

lol i read the mets refugee thread where someone predicted Matz/DeGrom/Thor/Wheeler/Harvey could "easily" combine for 75 wins.

Right now they're at 23.

I think some still believe this, while others have come to terms with being doomed.

But, I think most still believe they are just unlucky that it happened in the first place.

omg its actually funnier, the quote was "Harvey-Matz-Degrom-Noah"

So they're actually at 20. Or 7 if you don't count DeGrom.

Lackey, Eddie Butler, Mike Montgomery, and Brett Anderson have combined to win 19 games.

Salazar out of nowhere

Salazar and Carrasco are basically Mets pitchers, they're perpetually hurt with stints of healthiness in between
