This is just embarrassing for this supposed juggernaut of an offense which frankly has been at best average since May.

 

i don't think many people consider them a juggernaut when two starting outfielders are on the DL and the fourth OF is also injured.

This is one of the best parts of having such a big lead. Just platoon your left fielder and pitcher depending on who comes to the plate. We lose and oh well we're still 98% to win the division. House money.

So... How do mound visit rules work here? Does Joe go out to bring Patton in again, or does he just wave them back?

I'm wondering if Patton gets to warm up again

I assume he can't go to the mound again without someone coming out of the game.
