i'm not sure what LLF is being jumped on about here...funny or not, it was obviously a jokey reference to coghlan losing his spot (and being sentenced to baseball hell) on a 110 win behemoth as a direct and immediate result of the fowler signing.

There was never a point where he wasn't expendable, regardless of Fowler's decision. Hell, if anything, by LLF's tortuous joke-logic, he should be pissed at Szczur or Zobrist before Fowler.

I was looking at Coghlan's stats and thought "oh, a .487 Slg, thats not bad at all" and then realized that was his OPS

 

He's had a real rough year in the Coliseum. I can imagine him plugging in and being useful for a few weeks which is what we'll likely need him for.
