So Heyward gets Baez out of the lineup today. I'm cool with that.

take it to the john lackey thread!

I wanna talk about Rizzo's slump, so I'll do it there.

This is going to be the Jason Heyward "I'm Back and Ready to Kick Ass" game. Scared himself back into being awesome. I'm calling 3 dongs and an all-time record for n-words from Cardinals fans.

I'm talking myself into this, too. I don't know much about sports psychology. Or anything about being a hitting coach. But, maybe, just maybe, the short time off will be good for him. Forget about the swing problems. Unwind. Come back as Jason Heyward and everything is normal again. Or he could roll over to the second baseman four times.

Yeah but he's hitting under .300. I would rather have Juan Pierre.

If anything, this slide has made it so that I will appreciate the Awesome Cubs even more. So when they are donging teams to death and annihilating everyone, it will be easier to cherish.
