i think you're in teh same camp as me on this...i don't hate vin scully at all. i just think he's a senile boring old man as an announcer, and, for whatever reason, the whole baseball world pretends he isn't.

 

Yeah, the guy was one of the greats, and has a great voice, but most of his announcing is just rambling nonsense at this point and so many people act like he's still at the top of his game. The guy should have retired a long time ago.

The poor pirates have the misfortune of playing us like 16 times a year.

 

I enjoy us pounding them quite a bit but I want to see an equal and consistent pounding of the Cardinals as well. 2015 was annoying in making us wait for that ;)

Ugh, Harry was nowhere near as good at Scully, even when he was at his best pre-Cubs. Basically he was Reliable Generic Announcer Guy before the sauce kicked his ass.
